Former Rhamu-Dimtu Chief Khasim Mohamud Elmi has retired after serving the community for 32 years, ending a long career in public administration and local leadership.
Elmi was honored during a farewell ceremony attended by community elders, leaders and residents, who praised his dedication and commitment to service over the decades.
In recognition of his contribution, he was presented with a KSh 3.5 million gift as a token of appreciation for his years of service and leadership.
Speakers at the event described Elmi as a respected administrator whose efforts helped promote stability, cohesion and development in the Rhamu-Dimtu area.
