A man recovering at Garissa County Teaching and Referral Hospital has recounted a horrifying ordeal in which four armed attackers allegedly forced him to swallow a metal nail during a robbery in Madogo.
Danniel Musyoka said the four assailants, armed with pangas, attacked and robbed him before giving him a brutal ultimatum: swallow a nail or be cut into pieces.
He said he chose to swallow the nail in an attempt to save his life.
Musyoka is currently receiving treatment at Garissa County Teaching and Referral Hospital, where he is recuperating following the incident.
