Jubaland’s Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs has launched a capacity-building programme aimed at strengthening district administrations, justice institutions and police services.
The Director General of the ministry, Abdullahi Abdulqadir Adan Qaanuuni, officially opened the training on Saturday in Kismayo, bringing together officials from key government institutions.
The launch was attended by the Directors General of the Ministries of Interior and Planning, as well as the Jubbaland Police Spokesperson.
The training seeks to enhance the knowledge, professional skills and institutional capacity of officials serving in district administrations, justice institutions and the police service.
It is also intended to strengthen inter-agency coordination, improve public service delivery and promote accountability across government institutions.
Organisers said the programme would further equip participating institutions to respond more effectively to the security and justice needs of communities.
The initiative aims to strengthen institutional capacity and improve coordination among government agencies in delivering essential services to the public.
