Travellers between Garissa and Nairobi can now access regular scheduled flights starting from KSh9,000 following the release of a new weekly flight timetable by TRIP-POA Travel Agency.
Mr. Said Duwane, the Chief Executive Officer of the Agency said flights between Garissa and Wilson Airport in Nairobi will operate four days a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
“From Garissa to Nairobi (Wilson), flights are scheduled to depart at 8:30 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, arriving at 9:30 a.m. Friday and Sunday afternoon services depart at 4:00 p.m., arriving in Nairobi at 5:00 p.m,” he said.
He said the agency is renowned for offering passengers greater flexibility for business, medical, educational and personal travel.
“For passengers travelling from Nairobi (Wilson) to Garissa, flights depart at 7:00 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, arriving at 8:00 a.m. Afternoon flights on Fridays and Sundays leave at 2:30 p.m., reaching Garissa at 3:30 p.m.”

The agency says customers can make bookings through its offices or by contacting its customer service team via 0727 42 46 65 or 0724 356 652.
The prices of the expanded flight schedule are expected to go down. The route has improved connectivity between Garissa and the capital, supporting business, tourism and easier access to essential services while reducing travel time.
