A two-day orientation and stakeholder engagement under the Her Health Initiative has concluded in Galbet Ward, Garissa Township, bringing together Community Health Promoters, religious leaders, community elders and local administrators to strengthen support for adolescent sexual and reproductive health and menstrual health (SRMH) services.
The engagement focused on enhancing collaboration among key community stakeholders to improve access to adolescent-friendly health information and services for girls and young women.
Implemented by a youth-led organisation, Soulution Based Organization in partnership with Reproductive Health Network Kenya (RHNK), the National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) and the Garissa County Department of Health, the initiative aims to strengthen community systems and promote sustainable, locally driven solutions to improve adolescent health outcomes.
