Jubaland Darawish Forces Conduct Security Operation Along Doolow–Luuq Corridor

Share:

Jubaland Darawish Forces have conducted a security operation along the Doolow–Luuq corridor in Somalia’s Gedo region as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security and protect local communities.

The operation covered areas between the two districts, with security personnel carrying out patrols, inspections and assessments to establish the security situation on the ground.

The exercise was led by Doolow Security Commander Mohamed Hassan Bulle, popularly known as Sanka, and involved senior officers and units from the Jubaland Darawish Forces.

The operation forms part of broader security measures aimed at maintaining public safety and reinforcing law and order in communities along the corridor.

The Doolow–Luuq area is considered important for movement and connectivity within Gedo, requiring regular security monitoring to respond to emerging threats and safeguard civilians.

Jubaland authorities reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace and stability in Gedo, saying security operations would continue as part of efforts to protect residents and strengthen security across the region.
