Abdinasir Abdikadir Bulle Enters Bananey MCA Race, Pledges People-Centred Leadership

Mr. Abdinasir Abdikadir Bulle has formally expressed his intention to contest for the Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat for Bananey Ward in the 2027 General Election.

The youth leader is promising to champion inclusive development, accountable leadership and stronger engagement with residents.

Bulle, popularly associated with the slogan “I Wonder,” made his declaration in a message to residents, friends and family as he began what is expected to be a campaign to secure the Bananey Ward seat.

Mr. Bulle asked residents to consider supporting his candidature, saying he was offering himself for public service with a commitment to listen to the concerns of the people and work alongside them to improve the ward.

“To everyone who knows me personally, especially the people of Bananey Ward, you know who I am and what I stand for,” Bulle said.

He said his leadership would be anchored on accessibility and consultation, with residents playing a central role in identifying priorities and shaping development programmes for the ward.

Mr.Bulle said he was ready to work with different sections of the community regardless of their backgrounds, emphasising the importance of unity and collective responsibility in advancing the interests of Bananey Ward.

“I am ready to listen, serve, and work together with our community for development and a better future,” he said.

His declaration comes as political activity begins to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 General Election, with prospective candidates across various wards positioning themselves and engaging communities over their leadership ambitions.

For Bulle, the MCA position represents an opportunity to provide grassroots representation at the county assembly and push for programmes that respond directly to the needs of residents.

An MCA plays a key role in representing ward residents in the county assembly, participating in legislation, oversight and approval of county plans and budgets, while also raising issues affecting constituents.

Bulle highlighted that his campaign will focus on direct engagement with residents as he seeks to build support for his candidature.

He emphasised that he will listen to the community and work collectively rather than presenting leadership as a one-person undertaking.

He has also urged the people of Bananey Ward to entrust him with the responsibility of representing their interests if elected in 2027.

The emerging Bananey Ward contest is expected to attract increased attention as more aspirants declare their intentions and present their respective visions for the ward ahead of the elections.

Bulle is positioning himself as a candidate focused on service, accessibility and community-driven development as he seeks to win the confidence of voters.
