A dispatch from Villa Somalia noted particular attention was given to strengthening joint operations to ensure sustained stability in the Southwest State.
It said officials discussed strategies to improve intelligence-sharing, operational efficiency and rapid response to emerging threats.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud underscored the importance of unified command structures and collaboration between national and regional security actors.
The engagement comes amid continued efforts by Somali authorities to degrade terrorist networks and consolidate security gains across key regions.
