Siyat Osman Ngamia has been appointed as the Deputy National Chairman of the Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF), a significant addition of a Somali to the party’s national leadership.
Mr. Ngamia announced that he had accepted the appointment, expressing gratitude to WPF Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and the party’s National Executive Council for the confidence and trust placed in him.
Mr. Siyat Ngamia said he was honoured to serve the party and thanked the leadership on behalf of the people of Northern Kenya and in his personal capacity.
“I wish to express my sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to Kalonzo Musyoka, the Leader of the Wiper Patriotic Front, and the National Executive Council for appointing me to the position of Deputy National Chairman of the Wiper Patriotic Front,” he said.
He pledged to discharge his new responsibilities with humility, integrity and dedication, saying he would work to strengthen the party and promote inclusive leadership.
Mr. Ngamia said he looks forward to working closely with the party leadership, the National Executive Council and members across the country to advance the party’s vision while promoting unity, justice and sustainable development.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to serving Kenyans with patriotism and inclusivity, calling for collective efforts to build a stronger nation.
