The Social Health Authority (SHA) has reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and merit in its ongoing recruitment drive.
In a statement, SHA said it is recruiting 815 officers to support the new social health insurance model, with 144 officersalready hired, representing 17 per cent of the required workforce.
The authority said further recruitment phases are expected in the coming weeks.
The Authority said the process adheres strictly to constitutional and legal requirements, noting that recruited staff so far come from 24 ethnic communities and that SHA has surpassed the 5 per cent employment threshold for persons with disabilities.
SHA also clarified that former NHIF staff are being considered in line with the law, but appointments are not automatic and are subject to merit-based assessments.
The Authority urged the public to disregard misleading information circulating online, saying all official recruitment updates will be communicated through authorised channels.
