The Jubilee Party has nominated Bina Mohamed Tupi as its candidate for the upcoming Isiolo South Constituency by-election scheduled for February 26.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Jubilee confirmed it had formally awarded Tupi a nomination certificate, endorsing her as the party’s official flag bearer.
The party said her candidature reflects continuity and renewal, noting that she carries forward the political legacy of her late father, a former Isiolo South MP and a loyal Jubilee member.
The by-election is expected to draw significant attention as Tupi will face her brother, Tubi Mohammed, who is contesting on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.
Several parties are expected to field candidates in what is anticipated to be a tightly contested race.
