President Ruto reaffirms UDA party National Agenda of social economic Transformation

Share:

President William Ruto has reiterated the United Democratic Alliance’s (UDA) commitment to building a truly mass national political party anchored on unity, collaboration and long-term development.

Dr. Ruto said the party is focused on carrying Kenya’s transformation agenda beyond a single election cycle.

He was speaking at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri County, where he hosted more than 17,000 UDA grassroots leaders elected last week as polling centre officials.

President Ruto said the party was steadily consolidating its national presence by working with like-minded political movements across the country.

“We are building the United Democratic Alliance into a truly mass national political party, one that champions Kenya’s transformation agenda in partnership with like-minded political movements across the country,” the President said.

He added that UDA’s objective was to establish a strong and cohesive political unit capable of providing continuity in governance and development.

President Ruto noted that over the past three years, the party and the Kenya Kwanza administration had remained faithful to the UDA manifesto and the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda, citing progress in key sectors of the economy.

He said the government was focused on strategic investments in infrastructure, the development of human capital, expansion of quality healthcare, increased agricultural production, industrialisation, and the creation of jobs for young people.

The President praised grassroots leaders for their role in strengthening party structures at the local level, describing them as critical to sustaining political stability and advancing the national development agenda.

He urged them to remain united and to continue mobilising communities around shared goals of economic empowerment and inclusive growth.

The Sagana meeting brought together leaders from across Nyeri County. The UDA party is strategically consolidating its grassroots base as it positions itself as a long-term national political movement.
