Dozens of vulnerable families in Garissa have received food donations through the Feed the Hungry campaign by Pious Projects of America.
The initiative, which aims to support food-insecure communities, provided essential food supplies to needy households as part of the organisation’s humanitarian outreach programme.
Pious Projects of America said the campaign is inspired by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on feeding the hungry and seeks to restore hope and dignity to vulnerable families through community-driven support.
The organisation noted that all donations raised under the campaign are directed entirely towards implementing the programme, with no funds allocated to administrative costs.
