I am from Township Ward, Garissa County, Kenya.
What were you doing before joining RTG Digital?
Before joining RTG Digital, I served as a Bureau Chief at Radio Generation, covering regional news, community affairs, and current affairs programming.
Best part of the job?
Telling stories that matter, meeting people from different walks of life, and witnessing events that shape communities and nations. Journalism provides a front-row seat to history and the opportunity to inform and inspire audiences.
Worst on-air moment?
Every live broadcast comes with challenges, but I see them as learning opportunities. Staying calm and finding solutions under pressure is part of the profession.

Dedicated, resilient, optimistic.
Advice to anyone who wants to get started in journalism:
Be curious, stay informed, and develop a genuine interest in people and their stories. Build life experiences, listen carefully, and never stop learning.

The President of Kenya, to discuss leadership, development, and the future of the country.
If you could be famous, what would you be famous for?
Making a positive impact through journalism by amplifying voices, promoting accountability, and contributing to a more informed society.

My music preferences change over time, and I enjoy discovering different genres and artists rather than sticking to a fixed list of favourites.

I admire journalists who demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to public service. Their dedication to truthful and impactful reporting is inspiring.
